The only one in the republic at Bogatyr

The assembly of EKG-20 quarry excavator purchased by Bogatyr Coal LLP within the program of mining works development for 2019 was fulfilled by 20%. The modern machinery, the start-up of which is scheduled for the beginning of June, became the debut of the Russian company called Uralmashzavod with this type of products in Kazakhstani mining sector. The appearance of this machine, by the approval of the specialists, optimizes the mining operations of the enterprise. 

The main advantages of the modern excavator in comparison with Izhora models maintaining the coal mine are a bucket geometry allowing using its capacity more efficiently, and the work of main mechanisms on alternate current providing functional stability and reduction of time for technical maintenance.

The first similar machine was launched in 2011 at Krasnobrodskiy coal mine at Juzbass. By Chief Engineer of Ural machine-building enterprise Vladimir Davydov, the machinery passed its running and recommended itself as a reliable mining and transportation equipment.

As of today the specially trained erection team of Bogatyr Coal LLP specialists assembled the undercarriage, fulfilled the preliminary tension of track groups, made the placement of equipment in the technological sequence of the assembly. In the nearest time the delivery of the electric part of the excavator – cables and control cabinets – is anticipated. The commencement of EKG-20 exploitation is scheduled for June at the section of overburden and dump works #1 of the overburden complex of Bogatyr mine.
