The expanded sitting of the trade union

In Bogatyr Coal LLP the expanded sitting of the trade union committee of Bogatyr coal mine took place with the participation of Chairman of Batyr Komir Local Trade Union Kairula Tyratayev. The sitting participants touched the issues of labor protection at the enterprises, making changes to the collective agreement, and also discussed the results of the meeting of Executive Committee of Batyr Komir Trade Union with General Director Rustam Sansyzbayev.

 The meeting started from a minute's silence in remembrance of the victims of the fire in Kemerovo in Zimnyaya Vishnya Trade and Entertainment Center - Kuzbass colleagues-miners and their children. In continuation of the most discussed topic of life safety in the light of this tragedy, Chairman of Executive Committee Kairula Turatayev appealed to each miner of Bogatyr Coal LLP to start thinking on the observance of job safety at the operations, and to prevent accidents to take some personal responsibility for labor protection. The urgency of this was underlined not only in the background of the month of job safety, which started in the company and was timed to the International Day of Labor Protection. By Chairman of the trade union committee of Bogatyr coal mine Sergey Mikhailyuk, the vigilance and serious attitude to observance of job safety should always be in place in the  collective.

 In the nearest future fire precautions at the enterprise will be examined very thoroughly. Particularly, at the meeting the proposal was made to review fire extinguishers available at the production sections and organize an extraordinary briefing of their use.

 Addressing to the issue of the collective agreement directed at the protection of social interests of the company employees the head of the trade union informed that they would accept justified proposals on its amendment from the partnership employees until April 13, 2018. After that they would be transferred to a specially formed working group and eventually to the management of the company. It is anticipated the development of a renewed collective agreement will be finished within two months. However, after that deadline the commission members will continue accepting new proposals from the structural subdivisions of the enterprise and making appropriate changes for the elaboration of the final version of the collective agreement. Some part of them was voiced straight at the meeting.

 Some proposals on improvement of the collective agreement provisions have been discussed earlier at the meeting with General Director Rustam Sansyzbayev and taken for his personal control.

 At the meeting some other issues were touched, which Batyr Komir trade union committee was intended to resolve with the company management. They touched the expansion of the list of organizations to provide sanatorium and resort treatment for the employees of Bogatyr Coal LLP and other issues.
