The Department of Technical Control for manufactured products:

• Carries out tests of metal for yield point;
• Determines part hardness up to hardening;
• Determines Brinell metal hardness number;
• Checks products’ runout in centers;
• Determines a chemical composition of steels;
• Determines cracks in welded joints.

The Engineering Department:

• develops drawings for assemblies and parts;
• develops technical documentation, work production plans.

The plant has such large machine tools as: KU-478 boring-and-turning mill, which allows processing parts with a diameter up to 5 m, W200H boring-facing machine processes parts weighing up to 32 t, which bores parts with a diameter up to 1,100mm. At the plant there is the unique machine tool 1А660, which allows processing parts with a diameter up to 1,160mm, weighing up to 10 t and having a length up to 6m, and also gear-milling machines, on which one can cut pinions from module 1 to module 30.
