The first in Kazakhstan

The first in Kazakhstan EKG-20 mine excavator manufactured by Urakmashzavod was commissioned solemnly on May 30 at Bogatyr coal mine. The most powerful mining machine in its class was purchased by Bogatyr Coal within the frames of the program of enterprise technical fleet renewal.  

In order to celebrate such a significant event the miners gathered together for the holiday meeting at the section of dump and overburden works # 1 of Bogatyr coal mine. As seems suitable, the first one to congratulate the labor collective was General Director Nikolay Korsakov:  

- The production capacities of the enterprise will expand significantly with the start-up of the excavator of such a class. I would like to express the great thankfulness to the shareholders for the understanding given and funds allocated for the excavator purchase. The special gratitude goes to our partners - the managing company UZTM-KARTEKS - for their fast delivery of the excavator. Special thanks go to all, who worked on assembly, start-up and adjustment works, timely preparation of the machine for the start-up.

Deputy General Director-Director for Production Serik Makarov congratulated the miners and quests on this significant event. Andrey Ganin, Commercial Director of the managing company UZTM-KARTEKS, in his speech expressed his readiness to continue the successful cooperation. The crew of Aleksandr Kvitash was entrusted to manage the new excavator.

The culminating point of the celebration was the red band cutting traditional for such cases, bottle of champagne broken of the bucket and the first shipped bucket.
