Evaluating operational safety

The month on occupational health and safety in Bogatyr Coal LLP began with review contest for production sites. 

This year ten contenders strive for titles: “The best site of more than 50 men” and “The best site of less than 50 men”: Track-2 and site of overburden and dump operations-3 of Bogatyr mine, Track-3 and Uzlovaya station of Bogatyr Loading and Transport Department, freight department of Udarnaya station  of Coal Sales and Markets Directorate, Truck Fleet Repairing Shop-2, power supply site of  Severny Complex of Chief Power Engineer Department, oxygen and compressor site of Mining and Transport Equipment Repair site, Rail Cross-tie Grid repair shop and Rolling Equipment  Shed -2 of Railway Equipment Repair Directorate.

The committee from among the specialists of Directorate of Civil Protection and Occupational Safety, Directorate for Production System Development and representatives of local trade union Batyr Komir makes inspection for provision occupational safety conditions at working places, status of technical documents, visual agitation of occupational health and safety, availability and intactness  of individual protection means and equipment applied and etc. The results are estimated by ten-point scale. The results of the contest will be announced at the end of the month.
