The picked team of Bogatyr Coal LLP took an honorable 1-st place in the V-th Olympics among nine teams-participants from the group of companies of JSC Samruk-Energy.

Our mini-football players brought a gold medal to our picked team achievements. Having left behind their opponents from Almataenergosbyt, PVES and GRES-2 they met the team of JSC AZhK in the finals. They won the match with a score 3:2 in the series of penalty. In the composition of Bogatyr picked team headed by its captain Valery Pastukhov there was Ruslan Shishkin, Vladimir Chepurnov, Zhaslan Dosumov, Dmitry Minakov, Almas Kasenov, Murat Akhmetsharipov, and Oleg Negodyuk.

Lyudmila Popovich, Irina Trukhina, Vladimir Dereberya, Vyacheslav Pogodin, Fillip Shnyak, Meiram Kalimanov, Aleksandr Trukhin, and Aleksandr Rozhok took the second place in the composition of a picked team in volleyball. The tennis players - Yekaterina Yerezhepova and Konstantin Senich - took the first and second steps on the pedestal in table tennis. The chess player Yerken Kurmanbayev got the silver medal, and the arm-wrestlers Aleksey Sazonov, Inessa Sukhanova, and Takhir Ilyasov got gold and bronze medals.
