For knock-outs and medals: "Gena, we are with you!"

The command: "Ready! Steady! Go!" and 2,5 thousand meters to the finish tape. This is how the past Sunday morning started for over one thousand of Ekibastuz citizens. In the town the sport marathon started, which should cover all regions of the republic, on the idea of its organizers.

In the autumn marathon in support of the glorified Kazakhstani boxer from Karaganda Gennady Golovkin initiated by Social Development Department of Bogatyr Coal LLP, jointly with the company management, any person could participate, who is full of patriotism, strength, endurance and will to victory. At the start over a thousand of Ekibastuz citizens partial to boxing, running and active life got together. Among them there were pupils of the Children and Youth Sports Schools, Ekibastuz Mining and Technical and Medical Colleges, miners from Bogatyr Coal LLP, including General Director of the company Rustam Sansyzbayev, Head of Administration Dastan Zharkimbekov, Technical Director Galymbek Irgebayev, Head of Social Development Department Vladimir Tyulin, Chief Power Engineer Nurlybek Zhumatayev and Head of Major Construction Department Karen Airapetyan, the employees of Power Plant #1, Ekibastuz town branch of Nur Otan party, Department of Internal Affairs, departments of culture and sport and Ekibastuz central town hospital.

The marathon participants were cheered up and fueled with good mood by the active members of the united youth movement of Bogatyr Coal LLP and bears-animators.

After the command "Ready! Steady! Go!" the part of Kunayev Street was transformed into a running race, on which acute sport battles started.

In the all-aged group of runners one could see people of a pension age and children, who came to support GGG together with their parents. At that, the youngest of them used their three-wheeled transport to overcome a distance.

The first among men to finish was Bogdan Ikonnikov (Children and Youth Sports School #2), the second one - Aleksandr Makarov (Children and Youth Sports School #2), the third one - Nurlanbek Soltan (Bogatyr coal mine). Among women the gold award went to Nelli Keller (Children and Youth Sports School #2), the silver award went to Anna Dubinina (Children and Youth Sports School #2), the bronze award went to Veronika Remboldt (Medical College). The oldest race participant was a seventy-year-old Pyotr Dyachuk, the youngest one - a twelve-year-old Daniil Tsvig. These marathon participants were awarded with gifts of money and certificates, along with the competition awards.

The sports event in support of Gennady Golovkin was finished with the song of Timur Tuleubayev, Traction Unit Locomotive Operator from Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department and the transfer of the main transitional attribute of the race - the print with the marathon map - to the following town - Turkestan of Turkestan Region, where sports events in support of GGG would take place.
