The new level is set up

In Bogatyr Coal LLP there are reporting meetings of the company management with the labor collectives of the structural units of the partnership going on. General Director of the company Murat Abdygulov made the report on how the enterprise had worked last year and what plans it had for the current year in front of the employees of Bogatyr mine, Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department, Chief Power Engineer Service, Railroad Equipment Maintenance Department, and also the Executive Staff.

At the beginning of his speech he aimed the miners at the execution of the tasks raised by the head of the state Nursultan Nazarbayev in his recent Speech called New Opportunities of Development in the Conditions of the Forth Industrial Revolution. The production plans of the miners of Bogatyr Coal LLP for this year are made subordinate to the achievement of these strategic tasks. The level on coal production and shipment was raised up to 41,30 mm tons, including on Bogatyr mine - 33,11 mm tons and Severny mine - 7,19 mm tons. For comparison - last year the actual production made 40,8 mm tons of coal versus the planned level of 33,90 mm tons.

The volume of investments to the operations development will go up significantly this year - from 7,5 billion tenge in 2017 up to over 32 billion tenge. It is planned to allocate 20 billion tenge of them for continuation of the work on introduction of the truck-and-conveyor technology of coal mining at Bogatyr mine.

Addressing the topic of the social corporate responsibility Murat Abdygulov noted that all the obligations envisaged by the collective agreements had been fulfilled by the administration in the full volume. 

- According to the conditions of the Collective Agreement at the beginning of 2017 the indexation of tariff rates and base payments was made according to the inflation ratio in Pavlodar Region by 8,3%, from January 1 of the current year the indexation made 7,7%. By the results of 2017 an annual bonus will be paid to the company employees in the 1-st quarter this year.

On the eve of the 70-th jubilee of Miner's Day the enterprise paid a semi-annual bonus in the volume of 100% of base payment/monthly tariff rate for the first time. In the past years a bonus was paid out in the volume of 50% according to the regulations.

In 2017 the amount of social guarantees and benefits made over 700 mm tenge. In 2018 over 800 mm tenge will be allocated for these purposes…

Another direction of the social policy of Bogatyr Coal LLP is rendering charitable and sponsor assistance to needy citizens. Total for these purposes over 130 mm tenge were allocated last year. The funds were used for the development of the region within the frames of the Agreement, support of socially-sensitive layers of population, organization of summer rest of children-orphans, children from socially-sensitive layers of population. The enterprise rendered charitable assistance to non-commercial organizations and religious confessions - Ekibastuz town mosque and Serafimo-Iverskiy church of the town of Ekibastuz.

Upon the conclusion of the report the company head answered the questions of the meeting participants. Particularly, the employees of Bogatyr mine hired for the heating period were interested in an opportunity to prolong labor agreements. By Murat Abdygulov, labor agreements will be prolonged per one year or termless by petitions of heads of the company structural subdivisions.

There was a question asked regarding the increase of the amount of loans allocated for purchase of apartments and houses, improvement of living conditions and payment for children's study in 2018. The answer of the management was that so far its size was limited by the acting Regulations on the Order of Allocation of Interest-Free Loans to the Employees of Bogatyr Coal LLP. According to it, an interest-free loan is allocated for the purchase of apartments or houses in the volume of up to 1,5 mm tenge in case a person has no own apartment or house; for improvement of living conditions - in the amount of up to 1 mm tenge. The head of the company did not exclude the opportunity that in the future the Regulations would be revised. According to the business plan of the enterprise for 2018, 60 mm tenge were envisaged for allocation of loans.

Regarding rewards of employees for production achievements Murat Kenesovich assured he would personally apply to shareholders for their payment by the results of fulfillment of all scheduled plans of the company.

At the end of the meetings General Director of Bogatyr Coal LLP thanked the collective of the enterprise for the teamwork and aimed them at achieving new results.

In the nearest future the partnership management plans to hold meetings with the collectives of Technological Transport Department, Automobile Base and Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant.
