In unison with the Olympiad

For the last several days the sport fans from all over the world, with bated breath, have been watching the development of sport events in the South-Korean Pyeongchang. This time the fans of the sport team of Bogatyr Coal LLP had the double intensity of emotions – in the town and outside of it several sport competitions were held in unison with the Olympiad, in which Bogatyr sportsmen demonstrated their worthy results.

From January 20 through to February 18 the volleyball fans were gathered in the sport and healthy complex of Bogatyr Coal LLP and the gymnasium of Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant by the competitions in this kind of sport amongst the sections of the structural subdivisions of the coal enterprise.

In the first league the winner was the team of Ekspluatatsiya Rolling Stock Depot (captain - Aleksandr Trukhin), the second place went to Udarnaya Rolling Stock Depot (captain - Aleksandr Nazarenko), and Bogatyr coal mine office (captain - Nurken Bakishev) closed the triple of prize-winners.

In the second league the upper step of the podium was occupied by the volleyball players of the electric repair shop of Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant (captain – Kamzin Nurbek), the second place – UEF-3 of Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department (captain – Rozhok Aleksandr), the third – Technical Control Department of Railroad Equipment Maintenance Department (captain – Taiganov Daulet).

On February 10 the personal Championship of Bogatyr Coal LLP in winter Presidential all-round events took place, which became an elimination tournament of the town Olympics in these kinds of sport.

The prize-winners in the age group of 18-29 year-old participants were: Kanat Kalikhanov (Major Construction Direction, 1-st place), Svetlana Afanasenko (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department, 1-st place), Sergey Baranov (Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant, 2-nd place), Aizharyk Khuangan (Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant, 2-nd place), Medgat Doldashev (Major Construction Direction, 3-rd place) and Margarita Igumenova (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department, 3-rd place).

Among the 30-39-year-old participants the first place was shared between Maksim Urentsov (Bogatyr mine) and Olga Shereshova (Sales Direction), the second place was taken by Yury Vorobyov (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department) and Assel Beisekulova (Executive Staff), the third place - Yekaterina Mednikova (Executive Staff).

In the age group of 40-49 year-old participants the winners were Galymzhan Makishev (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department) and Svetlana Zadorina (Bogatyr mine). The silver medal went to Nurlan Mukashev (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department), the bronze medal was received by Bakhtiyar Mendybayev (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department) and Radik Saifullin (Bogatyr mine).

Among the sportsmen of 50 years old and older the gold prize-winners were Takhir Ilyasov (Bogatyr mine) and Yelena Napadovskaya (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department), Kanybek Masakbayev (Automobile Base), Valentina Mullina (Major Construction Direction) and Sara Prokofiyeva (Bogatyr mine) became the silver prize-winners, Umyrbay Kudaikulov and Raziya Kasimova from Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department received the bronze awards.

On February 11, 8 of those prize-winners in the composition of Bogatyr picked team defended the honor of Bogatyr Coal LLP sensationally in the town Olympics amongst enterprises and organizations in the winter Presidential all-round events. The result of the hot contest developed in Shakhtyor Culture and Rest Park was the honorary first place of Bogatyr sportsmen in the team competition. The collection of the picked team was 7 golden medals and 1 silver medal.

In three days - on February 14 - the multiple champion and prize-winner of various competitions Sara Prokofiyeva came back from the regional competitions in ski racing amongst disabled people with a cherished golden medal.

The football players of Bogatyr Coal LLP gladdened their fans. On February 10 the Bogatyr team (captain - Aleksandr Petrov) defeated dry the ALEM team in the regular tour of the town championship in mini-football with a 5:0 score. The good football results were also shown in the out open tournament amongst veterans in mini-football for the prize of Aksu Ferro-Alloy Plant, which took place in Aksu on the last week-end. Bogatyr football players took the honorary second place among the six teams from Pavlodar, Aksu, and Ekibastuz.

On February 11 the games of the first league of the town championship in mini-football among the physical culture collectives in Zhasybay Children and Youth Sport School. In the first round of the championship Bogatyr-1 team (captain - Dmitry Minakov) yielded the match to the football players from Vostok team with a 3:4 score. Bogatyr-2 team (captain - Serik Makhabekov) won the victory over the team from Ekibastuz Power Plant-1 with a 6:5 score.

Last week-end in the second round of the championship Bogatyr-1 team suffered a defeat from Vostok team having missed 7 goals and scored 2 goals to the competitors. Bogatyr-2 team nailed down the results of the previous round having won the team of Ekibastuz Power Plant-1 with a 6:4 score.

In the future the football players will have a match with their opponents from Narodny Bank. The final results of the championship will become known at the end of March-beginning of April.

On February 18 the town ice court gathered the fans of ice-skating at the personal championship of Bogatyr Coal LLP amongst men and women.

The result of the ice skating competitions was six first, six second and five third places.

In the age category of 18-34 year-old participants Gulzana Zhikhareva and Ivan Kolosov (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department) won, the second place was taken by Irina Moisa (Exectuive Staff) and Mirzabek Sholpanov (Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant), the bronze prize-winners were Nursaule Makarova (Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant) and Adilet Kairbay (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department).

Among the ice-skaters of 35-44 years old the golden prize went to Olga Shereshova (Sales Direction) and Yevgeniya Golovasha (Bogatyr mine), the silver award was taken by Svetlana Zadorina (Bogatyr mine) and Viktor Maltsev (Technological Transport Department).

Among the sportsmen of 45 years old and older the places were distributed as follows: Yelena Napadovskaya and Nurlan Mukashev (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department) - the 1-st place, Aigul Alenayeva (Commercial Direction) and Igor Kornilov (Bogatyr mine) - the 2-nd place, Sara Prokofiyeva (Bogatyr mine), Bakhtiyar Mendybayev (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department)  and Kanybek Masakbayev (Automobile Base) - the 3-rd place. 

All the winners and prize-holders of the competitions were awarded with diplomas of appropriate ranks and monetary prizes from the company management.
