The joint ecological project called Smart Water Supply of the participant of the program of JSC Samruk Kazyna called Zhas Orken, the trainee of Bogatyr Coal LLP Adil Abdikhanov, Bogatyr youth activist Vladimir Tyulin and Deputy Town Maslikhat Serik Sadvakasov represented at the republican competition of innovative start-up projects Menin armanym made the successful debut at the oblast (regional) level and went to the following round.

The competition initiated by Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan started at the beginning of February in Pavlodar oblast. Following it the other regions of Kazakhstan will take part in the competition relay.

Over 450 young, active and initiative citizens of the Pavlodar area near Irtysh River presented their findings in various branches of science, technology, culture, and ornamental art. Only 30 of them having received the approval of the representatives of judges' panel went through to the republican level. The project called Smart Water Supply is one of them.

One of the project co-authors - Vladimir Tyulin - told that in these findings the development of the "green" economy of Kazakhstan and the development of Smart City project found their reflection. This resource-saving know-how destined for installation in newly built houses allows saving portable water.

Its essence is in division of the water supply system. Portable water will be supplied to water taps. After the use in bathrooms and kitchens it will come into the storage tank with a special primary filter installed in the house subbasement. After the filtration water goes up into apartments with the help of a pump and will be reused in toilets for discharge. Only after that it will go to water treatment facilities where it will become portable again having passed treatment and disinfection.

The project authors made the calculations that the actual water economy, for example, for a 54-apartment house will be about 30%. Also the use of this technology will allow reducing the volume of water treatment facilities with time.

Besides, it will be possible to use secondary water in fire-extinguishing systems installed in apartments, and also for watering house green belt and charging fire trucks in case of a fire.

Akimat (Administration) of Pavlodar region got interested in "Smart Water Supply" project. It gives the developers assurance that they will go to the semifinal of the competition and, probably, take a prize-winning place, and their project will find its application in life. That is why, they can hardly wait for results, which will be announced approximately in September this year. We do wish luck to our competition participants and want their dreams come true.
