The competitions in mini-football and volleyball devoted to the Day of the First President and the Day of Bogatyr coal mine foundation took place past Saturday in the playground of the sports and health complex of Bogatyr Coal LLP.
The picked team of the mining works sections and the united team of the overburden and dump works sections of Bogatyr coal mine were given a chance to win a rank of a strongest team and cups of winners. By the present tradition the greeting ceremony of the teams gave the start to the tournament. On behalf of the administration of Bogatyr Coal LLP and the mine management the participants of the sports event were congratulated on the significant dates by Deputy Director-Head of Overburden Complex Serik Sattarov.
The competitive part of the tournament program was opened by the match of football teams of the mine. Looking ahead, let us note, despite the friendly nature of the meeting, the match was really spectacular. From the first minutes of the match the initiative was seized by the players of the mining sections picked team, who tried to score a quick goal. However, the literate and skillfully developed game in the defense of the overburden and dump works sections did not allow them doing it. Moreover, having restrained the attack of the opponent they initiated the counterattack and carried out a series of smashing attacks. In one of the episodes the ball almost hit the top corner. Eventually, the combinational play of the overburden and dump works sections team led to a logical and curious goal. Developing the achieved success, the team of the overburden and dump works sections was trying to fasten the preponderance. The result was the second goal. Very soon the team of the competitors scored their goal. The score became 2:1. It looked like a turning point of the match. But the final score was 4:1, what stated the dominance of the team of the overburden and dump works sections.
The self-sacrificing play of the goal-keeper of the overburden and dump works sections Vladimir Yakobi deserved very praiseful words.
After a short break the program was continued by the volleyball match of Bogatyr coal mine teams. Like the past football match, the volleyball match was tense and interesting. Either the first or the second team was gaining the lead. But despite the huge wish of the mining works sections team to get own back for the offensive failure in the football Derby the victory on that day was celebrated again the picked team of the overburden and dump works sections.
The team also received the challenge cups and diplomas of the tournament winners and the monetary bonus from the management of Bogatyr Coal LLP. The company administration presented diplomas and a monetary bonus for the participation and will to win to the team of the mining works sections of Bogatyr coal mine.
One should note the competitions devoted to the Day of the First President and the Day of Bogatyr coal mine foundation held for the third time running this year became traditional and were included in the calendar of sport events of Bogatyr Coal LLP.
