Bogatyr-like, whole-hearted

Widely and on a large scale the past Miner's Day was celebrated in Bogatyr Coal LLP. This year the holiday was given a special status as the tradition to honor coal mining industry specialists on the last Sunday of August started 70 years ago.

The employees of Bogatyr Coal LLP treated this year's celebration very thoroughly. As usual, the first to be honored were the mining industry veterans. Each of almost 2,5 thousand pensioners-coal miners received 3,5 thousand tenge. Keeping up the good traditions the company management organized a holiday dinner for its veterans followed by the concert program called The Miners' Waltz. Besides, thirty honored veterans-miners received the great opportunity to spend some days in Beryozka rest house. Touched by the cordiality the veterans expressed the gratefulness for the shown attention and care to the management of Bogatyr Coal LLP. 

The program of the holiday events was followed by the solemn meeting of the labor collective of the company in the assembly hall of the administrative building of Bogatyr coal mine. In the event devoted to the 70-th anniversary of Miner's Day the following people participated: General Director of Bogatyr Coal LLP Serik Raipov, Member of the Board of Directors of Forum Muider B.V. Aleksey Repin, Managing Director for Production and Asset Management of JSC Samruk-Energo, Member of the Board of Directors of Forum Muider B.V. Serik Tyutebayev, Department Director of United Company RUSAL Yuriy Treshchyov, First Deputy General Director-CFO of Bogatyr Coal LLP Nikolay Korsakov, Deputy General Director-Director for Production of Bogatyr Coal LLP Sergey Platonov, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of Bogatyr Coal Kairula Turatayev.

Congratulating the labor collective of the company with its professional holiday General Director of Bogatyr Coal LLP Serik Raipov stated:

- Dear miners! The results of the work of our enterprise for the first half received the positive evaluation of the shareholders. They infuse the confidence we will fulfill the scheduled plans. From the depth of my heart I wish you prosperity, warmth and coziness in your houses, and new labor achievements.     

Member of the Board of Directors of Forum Muider B.V. Aleksey Repin addressed the participants of the solemn meeting with the congratulation words on behalf of Chairman of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Umirzak Shokeyev and Chairman of the Board of JSC Samruk-Energo Almasadam Satkaliyev.

The other quests of the holiday addressed the miners of Bogatyr Coal LLP with the wishes of good and prosperity. The solemn meeting went on with the ceremony of awarding best workers of the partnership.

Over 80 employees of Bogatyr Coal LLP representing various mining professions were awarded with Miner's Glory, Labor Glory, Letter of Merit, Best Employee of the Company, and other awards of JSC Samruk-Kazyna, JSC Samruk-Energo, KAZENERGY Association, Akim of Ekibastuz.

The solemn meeting devoted to the 70-th anniversary of celebrating Miner's Day was followed by the holiday concert arranged by the amateur talent groups of Bogatyr Coal LLP. 

The culminating point of Miner's Day celebration was the concert and entertainment program, the participants of which were hundreds of Bogatyr employees and their family members. The event was held at the stadium of the sport and health center of the company. This year the organizers created the maximum comfortable conditions for the quests. The real miracle was created by the fixers from Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant jointly with their colleagues from Major Construction Direction. It was the large stage designed for this year's celebration. On the grandstand for spectators a sun shelter was installed. The congratulation words, music gifts from Bogatyr's talented youth, exhibitions of kazaksha-kures fighters, Bogatyr athlete Ruslan Ibrayev, who pulled the Gazel minivan, Kazakh national and sport games played between the structural subdivisions of the company on the green field of the stadium and much-much others created the holiday mood. In the competition in tug-of-war the brigade of Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department was the best, the second place was conquered by the team from Bogatyr coal mine, the third place went to the team of Technological Transport Department.  

The real apogee of the folk's festival was a holiday lottery. Some part of gifts was presented by the partners of the company, along with Bogatyr Coal LLP itself. In total over 300 valuable prizes were disposed in the lottery: TV-sets, microwave ovens, slow cookers, and a lot of other home appliances. The voucher to Turkey for two persons was presented by JSC Narodny Bank of Kazakhstan. The happy owners of three main prizes - Lada cars - were: Кanybek Masanbayev, Automobile Base Driver, Garifulla Olzhabayev, Automobile Base Mechanic, and Laura Bakisheva, Lead Economist of Finance Direction of Bogatyr Coal LLP.
