Showed the high class

24.08.2017

On the eve of the main miners' holiday - Miner's Day - the series of professional mastership competitions Best in Profession finished in Bogatyr Coal LLP. By the tradition set up long time ago in the company the final point was put by the operators of bucket-wheel and shovel excavators.

The first ones to compete were the operators of SRSk-2000 bucket-wheel excavators. Like all the previous contests, it consisted of two stages. In the course of the theoretical stage the participants had to give right answers to 10 test questions in labor protection, industrial and fire safety, and technology of works conduct. For each correct answer a competitor received one point. The second stage was practical. At this stage each participant of an excavator crew received an individual task. Bucket-wheel and loader operators had to fulfill a control feed and load of coal; as for an operator-electrician he had to reveal and remedy a failure. In both cases the competition commission considered both quality and time spent. By the results of two competition days the best in their nominations were the bucket-wheel operator Dmitry Naak (SRSk-2000 excavator #1105, Mining Works Section-1), loading operator Yevgeniy Karzakov (SRSk-2000 excavator #1143, Mining Works Section-1), operator-electrician Ruslan Tukayev  SRSk-2000 excavator #1146, Mining Works Section-1). The second place was taken by bucket-wheel operator Nabi Kozhamberdinov (SRSk-2000 excavator #1146, Mining Works Section-1), loading operator Aleksandr Repin (SRSk-2000 excavator #1145, Mining Works Section-1), operator-electrician Sergey Grigoriyev (SRSk-2000 #1105, Mining Works Section-1). The third place went to bucket-wheel operator Aleksandr Zmaznev (SRSk-2000 #1145, Mining Works Section-1), loading operator Zhastlek Dyusembekov (SRSk-2000 excavator #1144, Mining Works Section-1), operator-electrician Igor Averyanov (SRSk-2000 excavator #1106, Mining Works Section-2).

The earnest competition took place in the category of EKG shovel excavator operators. It was explained by the big number of participants and, as a result, their high level of competition. The order of the competition conduct in this category was the same - theory first and then practice. Having answered the test question in job safety fast the participants moved to the more "picturesque" part of the competition - practice. This year the practical tasks for shovel excavator operators underwent some changers. Instead of the conventional tasks this year the contest organizers invented some new assignments. They were to hit the basket with a ball and to drive a nail home with the use of a bucket heel; they required the enviable moderation and incredible intuition, along with experience and the feeling of inseparable unity with а managed machine. In coping the competition agitation and winning a deserved victory the best one was Gennady Baryshev, EKG 8I #2403 excavator operator (Overburden and Dumping Works Section #3). The second place was taken by Rustam Ospanov, EKG-10 US excavator #3511 operator (Overburden and Dumping Works Section #2), the third place went to Nikolay Barinov, EKG-10 US excavator #3558 operator (Overburden and Dumping Works Section #3).

It was impossibly difficult to compete for ESh excavator (dragline) operators. The results of the competition were as follows: the best dragline operator was Shirafidin Mamayev, ESh-11/70 excavator #2742 operator, from Overburden and Dumping Works Section #3, Sergey Ovsyannikov, ESh-13/50 excavator #2722 operator from Overburden and Dumping Works Section #3, and the third place went to Vladislav Sartakov, ESh-11/70 excavator #2742 operator from Overburden and Dumping Works Section #3.

The ceremony of awarding winners and prize holders of the Best in Profession competition among bucket-wheel and shovel excavator operators will take place during the solemn meeting devoted to Miner's Day.
