Traditionally the competition was opened with the examination in theory. Each of 12 participants was given questions in technical arrangement of vehicles and industrial safety and labor protection rules. The first to compete were the operators of CAT-777D large trucks. According to the competition conditions the participants had to demonstrate their large truck driving skills.
