Faster, higher, stronger!

"Joyful Starts" between the teams of structural subdivisions of Bogatyr Komir LLP took place last Sunday in the sport and health center of the company. The competition was devoted to the celebration of the International Women's Day - the 8-th of March.

By the results of the competition each picked team had to consist of six women and one man-captain. The number of teams from one structural subdivision was not limited. All volunteers could participate in the relay race. The only condition was not to have medical contraindications.

Nurlan Mukulov, Director for Personnel and Social Policy of the company made a greeting speech for the participants:

– Let me congratulate everyone on the end of winter and beginning of spring. On behalf of the company management I wish you all happiness, warmth, prosperity, and wealth. Let the strongest team win!

The words of severance were said to the colleagues by head of the Trade Union Committee of the company Kairula Turatayev:

– These competitions are traditional. They open our spring marathon. I wish everyone strong health and all the best. Let  the best from the best win!

Six teams were contending for the championship. Among them there was Maximum team (Railroad Equipment Maintenance Department), Banda team (Bogatyr coal mine), Kyzdar.kz (Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant-1), Apelsin (Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant-2), The Great Six and Slavyan (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department). By the way, for the first time the students of Ekibastuz Mining and Technical College named after Kosum Pshenbayev became the competition participants: the future miners' team was called Forsazh.

On the way to victory the participants of the relay race had to overcome seven stages: Greeting, Felt boots, Tunnel, Firedrake, Tree of wishes, Darts, and Jumps over a bar.

By the results of the tense struggle the fifth place was taken by the students' team, the honorable forth place was shared by the teams Apelsin (Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant-2) and Maximum (Railroad Equipment Maintenance Department), the third place was taken by the picked team of Bogatyr coal mine, the "silver" was taken by Kyzdar.kz (Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant-1), and eventually the absolute leader of the competition was the picked team The Great Six and Slavyan from Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department.

The winners, prize holders and participants were awarded with certificates of merit and prize money by the organizers. The musical presents were given by Sergey Zakharov, Azamat Azdoyev, Nelly Shtraub, and Polar Lights trio.
