In Bogatyr Komir LLP the great attention is paid to the development of mass sport. The evidence of it is numerous achievements of the miners in the competitions of various levels. Intense is the calendar of sporty events for Bogatyr employees at the beginning of the year. The real holiday for sport fans was the volleyball competitions taken place from January 21 to February 20, 2017 in the sport facilities of Bogatyr Komir LLP and the plant for mining and transportation equipment maintenance. In the sport battles the teams of the company structural subdivisions participated. According to the regulations all the teams were divided into two leagues. The division was based on the results of the past sport season. The first league included the four teams-prize winners from the last season. The others were included in the second league. By the results of the tournament among the first league teams the first place was taken by the team from the Shop for Rolling Stock Maintenance (Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant) led by captain I.Zavgorodniy, the second place was taken by the team of Oktyabrskaya Rolling Stock Depot from Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department led by its captain M. Kalimanov, the third place was taken by the team of Ekspluatatsiya Rolling Stock Depot from Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department led by its captain A.Trukhin. The prize-winners of the second league were the team from Chief Power Engineer Service (captain - Zhumatayev N.), the team from Bogatyrskaya Rolling Stock Deport of Railroad Equipment Maintenance Department (captain - R.Imangaliyev), and the team from Production and Technical Department-1 at Bogatyr coal mine (captain - S.Salomakhin).

The competitions in the winter presidential multiathlon were held on February 11, 2017 in the stadium of Bogatyr Komir LLP. The will to win and persistence were demonstrated by all the participants of the individual championship. But like in any competition the strongest won.

In the age category of 18-29 years old Kanat Kalikhanov and Svetlana Afanasenko were the first; Sergey Baranov, Aizharyk Khuangan took the second place; Manas Zhumabekov was third. In the age category of 30-39 years old Yury Vorobyov, Olga Shereshova were the first; Baurzhan Aubakirov, Yevgeniya Vaganova took the second place; Anatoliy Ivanov, Assel karimtayeva were the third. In the age category of 40-49 years old Galymzhan Makishev, Svetlana Zadorina were the first; Bakhtiyar Mendybayev, Kulyash Nagmetova took the second place; Yerbol Baimukhametov, Yelena Tsymbal were the third. In the age category of 50 years old and older: Takhir Ilyasov, Yelena Napadovskaya were the first; Umyrbay Kudaikulov, Valentina Mullina took the second place; Kanybek Masakbayev, Sara Prokofyeva were the third.

As early as on February 18, 2017 some of the prize-winners were defending the honor of the native enterprise at the competitions in the winter presidential multiaphton on the eve of the VII complex Olympics among the town enterprises and organizations. Thanks to the endeavors and mastership of each sportsman the picked team of Bogatyr Komir LLP took the champion's title and proved one more time it was without compare. The excellent results were also shown by Bogatyr employees in the individual championship. Yelena Napadovskaya took the first place, Olga Shereshova was the first, Svetlana Zadorina and Valentina Mullina were the second, Kanat Kalikhanov took the first place, Sergey Baranov - the third one, Takhir Ilyasov and Galymzhan Makishev were the first.

Successful was the performance of Bogatyr employees in the town skiing competitions on the following day. The total "harvest" made three golden, two silver and one bronze medals for the team of Bogatyr Komir LLP.

The logical continuation of the competitions in winter kinds of sport was the individual championship of Bogatyr Komir LLP in skating for men and women held on February 19, 2017 on the skating-rink at Sheshembekov street. The triplets of prize-winners were determined in each age category. In the age category of 18-30 years old the first place was taken by Irina Kvasova and Myrzabek Sholpanov; Nursaule Makarova and Ruslan Kalenderov took the second place; Aigerim Zhumadilova and Adilet Kairbay were the third. In the age category of 31-44 years old Guldana Zhikhareva and Pavel Baranov took the first place; Olga Shereshova and Nurlan Mukashev were the second; Svetlana Zadorina and Mikhail Moisa were the third. In the age category of 45 years old and older Yelena Napadovskaya and Nurlan Ayaganov were the first, Fyodor Podvizhenko took the second place; Mukhtarkhan Musabayev and Anatoliy Khamidullin took the third place.

Successful were the mini-football competitions held past weekend. On February 18, 2017 the picked team of Bogatyr Komir LLP (captain - A.Petrov) won a match in mini-football with the team Barrier with the score 5:1 among veterans.

The main team of Bogatyr Komir LLP in mini-football was also the best in the town championship (the 1-st league). In a Sunday match Bogatyr-1 team (captain D.Minakov) beat the team of Bogatyr Security LLP with a slashing score - 9:4. The initiative was supported by the football players of Bogatyr-2 team (captain - S.Makhabekov), which beat the team of Promservis-Otan with the score 4:2.

All the prize-winners of the competitions were awarded with appropriate diplomas and memorable gifts.
