A Family is Strong by its Traditions
The Mynbayev family is one of the famous labor dynasties in Bogatyr Coal LLP. All three brothers work in the railroad sphere of Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department for several tens of years.
The pioneer of the labor dynasty of the Mynbayevs was the eldest brother Kasymzhan Temirkhanovich. As he recollects now he came to work to the mine in 1975 after the service in the Soviet Army, but before that he had graduated from the six-month training courses for the specialty called Diesel Electric Locomotive Operator's Assistant. He was hired as a traction unit operator, what was especially prestigious at that time. Having worked for 27 years on that position he moved to work as a diesel locomotive operator giving way to young specialists. Not betraying his profession Kasymzhan Temirkhanovich has been working by the chosen specialty for over forty years, currently in Stepnaya Rolling Stock Depot of Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department. As he confesses, step by step he dropped into the profession, felt his mission. Although at the beginning Kasymzhan considered this work as a temporary one, he even thought of enrollment in an institute, and even for some time he learnt in the evening department of a higher educational institution, but then he left the study and saturated himself in work. Recollecting his young years, he says:
- This was the most interesting time in my labor biography. We could spend days and nights at work – we were repairing broken equipment ourselves to finish repair as soon as possible and make up for lost volumes of cargo transportation. The emulative spirit was catching us in the competition of crews. At that time everybody wanted to be the first and the best in what they were doing.
In the labor biography of Kasymzhan Temirkhanovich there were many significant events, one of them was the participation in the solemn shipment of the 500-millionth ton of Ekibastuz coal.
When choosing a profession the middle brother Dzhumakan Temirkhanovich followed the example of his elder brother. After the graduation from the 8-th grade he entered the mining technical secondary school for the specialty Rolling Stock. After its graduation he was hired in Severny Loading and Transportation Department as an electric locomotive operator. He was drafted into the army and after the demobilization by the advice of his brother he was employed in Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department, first as an operator's assistant and then as an operator. Currently Dzhumakan Temirkhanovich is an operator-instructor, or as this position is currently called - a traction unit senior operator. The special respect is inspired by the fact that for all the past 37 years he has been working in one section - Ekspluatatsia Rolling Stock Depot of Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department. It is interesting that Dzhumakan, like his brother, did not plan to stay so long in his current occupation, moreover he supposed to study in a medical higher educational institution.
- Our father wanted me very much to get medical education and become a doctor, - this is how Dzhumakan Temirkhanovich explains it. - At the same time I am glad it shaped this way. I like my job and I am fully satisfied with it. In this profession I grew as a specialist.
The spouse of Dzhumakan Temirkhanovich, Galiya Zeinullinovna, also works for Bogatyr Coal LLP. Her position is a thermal point operator of the power utilities facility #1 of Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department.
Preserving the succession the youngest brother Nurlan Temirkhanovich Mynbayev chose a railroad man profession for himself. Having graduated from the mining technical secondary school by the specialty called Rolling Stock he works as a yardmaster at Bogatyrskaya rail station of Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department, he is a crew leader. Combining his work and study Nurlan Temirkhanovich got a higher education by the specialty called Cars and Rolling Stock in Ekibastuz Engineering and Technical Institute named after K.Satpayev.
Each of the Mynbayev brothers has labor merit awards. The eldest brother deserved most awards, of course. Kasymzhan Temirkhanovich has all three degrees of Miner's Glory award, he is an Honorable Employee of Coal Industry, he has been acknowledged as the Best Employee of the Company and his photo was placed on the Roll of Honor.
Dzhumakan Temirkhanovich has been also honored with three degrees of Miner's Glory award for his long and fair labor.
Nurlan Temirkhanovich received the second grade of Miner's Glory award this year. His elder brothers believe in him because Nurlan's work experience is only 25 years, what means he has where to grow.
Despite all the talks on the crisis and other complications of the modern life the real workers - the Mynbayev brothers - are optimistic looking into the future and say with confidence: "We believed and we believe everything will be good".
