            Bogatyr Coal LLP became the first company, where Aleksandr Verbnyak made the report to the miners on the work done in Ekibastuz region in 2014 as it is the town-forming enterprise, which employs about seven thousand people. Bogatyr Coal LLP is the largest tax payer in the town, and it actively participates in the social life of Ekibastuz and Pavlodar region.

In his report Akim told about the social and economic development of Ekibastuz region in the past year. All the work of Akimat was directed at implementation of specific targets and priorities, which had been set by the head of the state Nursultan Nazarbayev in his message called "Kazakhstani way-2050: United Goal, United Interests, United Future". This is the development of economy and overall business activity of the population support of entrepreneurship, social security and welfare of citizens.

            Aleksandr Verbnyak noted that the volume of actual production was a little higher than in 2013 (320,7 billion tenge) and made 321,1 billion tenge. This parameter was influenced by the reduction of coal production and power generation volume in connection with the total reduction of commercial demand.

The important role in building up the industrial production was assigned to the state program of forced industrial and innovative development of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014. Thanks to the program 32 projects with the total volume of investment of over 763 billion tenge are being implemented in Ekibastuz region. In 2014 four large projects were commissioned. In June the manufacturing of plastic window frames by R.W.S BINDING LLP was started; in September the start-up of EURASIA COPPER OPERATING LLP took place, where the production of copper and copper concentrate is carried out; in December the works began at the washing plant of FonetEr-TaiAKMINING LLP at Ayak-Kodzhan deposit and the power unit #2 at Ekibastuz Power Plant #1 LLP.

The works are continued on the construction of Bozshchakol Mining and Processing Integrated Works, the third power unit of Ekibastuz Power Plant #2.

The further development was received by the small and medium business enterprises. In comparison with 2013 the number of actively operating enterprises went up by 17% - 668 units. 242 jobs were created in the course of the projects implementation.

Last year, like before, the special attention was paid by the town administration to the issue of housing provision. The people in the queue received 141 apartments, including 47 ones in Solnechny village.

 The problem of elevator facilities, which had been torturing the town inhabitants for many years, was almost resolved. 10 passenger elevators were mounted, 39 elevators were  diagnosed after they had finished their standard operation time, the scheduled preventive current works were carried out on 56 elevators. By the opinion of the experts, the elevator facilities of the town were acknowledged as one of the best.

             The purposeful work on development and expansion of the state language use sphere was going on. About 4 mm tenge from the town budget were allocated for these purposes for the conduct of festivals, contests, aitys, etc. Aleksandr Verbnyak named Bogatyr Coal LLP as the bright example in implementation of the state policy in the sphere of the Kazakh language development. With the purpose of increase of the Kazakh language knowledge level the company allocates over a million tenge each year. They created the group of development and functioning of the state language. The new program, the new regulations of development and introduction of the language have been developed. The presentation of the Room of Ethnic Culture of the Kazakh People took place. In the company the events take place devoted to the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan, Independence Day, Nauryz. The company employees, who are successful students in learning the state language get motivated financially.

The specially equipped classroom for Kazakh language lessons for Bogatyr Coal LLP employees was acknowledged as the best amongst classrooms of Ekibastuz organizations and institutions by the results of the recent annual town competition. The coal mining giant became the leader in propaganda of the state language amongst its employees.

In his report Akim noted the positive dynamics in development of agriculture in Ekibastuz region. The gross agricultural output increased by 2%.

The town head also reported on the reforms in other spheres of the town life: education, healthcare, culture and sport, youth policy. At the same time he noted the significant contribution of Bogatyr Coal LLP as the company facilitating to the region development, preservation of the national welfare, such as cultural, intellectual values and people's health. Over 220 mm tenge are allocated for these noble purposes every year.

The social assistance is directed, first of all, to socially vulnerable layers of population: support of the Great Patriotic War veterans, disabled people, pensioners, families with many children. They are rendered financial assistance, and the monetary funds are allocated for repair of their housing.

The countrymen are also not forgotten: every heating season they get 1,000 tons of coal. 

In conclusion Aleksandr Verbnyak thanked the Bogatyr people:

Dear miners! Currently your enterprise is the active participant of the program of the social partnership development. Bogatyr Coal LLP is a socially-oriented enterprise providing each employee with a social package. Your collective actively participates in beautification and landscaping of the town, in all town subbotniks and cultural social events, charity events, provides coal for needy people, takes care of its veterans. Under the leadership of Viktor Konstantinovich Shchukin the significant social projects are implemented, including football development, financing our football team. It is a confirmation of your active civil stand, partial attitude to the town, culture and living conditions of each employee. You yourselves make the comfort around yourselves. Thank you!

After that the town Akin answered numerous questions, which related to the production activity, cultural, utility and legal spheres of Ekibastuz. Many people using this opportunity addressed Akim directly with request to resolve various problems. Some questions were answered by Aleksandr Fyodorovich himself, others were answered by his deputies, the town law enforcement agencies representatives. Some individual questions requiring the more detailed consideration, as Akim instructed, would be answered in full as soon as practicable. At the end of the meeting the list was read consisting of fifty delegates from Bogatyr Coal LLP to the reporting meeting of Akim with Ekibastuz town and region population, which would take place on February 6 in Oner Palace of Culture in Ekibastuz.
