11.05.2018

The fruit and vegetable subject is close for the riveter of Railroad Equipment Maintenance Director Viktor Slobodenyuk. And not only by the reason that confirming the above-mentioned saying he took over the profession of his father. Thanks to his good graces he manages to grow splendid tomatoes and varietal flowers in his home grounds. In addition to it, Viktor Aleksandrovich raises rabbits of the chinchilla breed.

Energetic, active and positive. It seems the person does not seat in one place. Even if he does then thoughts and ideas always tumble in his brain. From the moment of his employment in the coal enterprise in 1975 he managed to get many professions. He worked as a drill rig operator, electric repairman, and repairman on duty for mining equipment maintenance, then he got retrained to be a riveter - one of rare professions at the enterprise; he became a crew leader of the fifth grade and even received the specialty of a foreman.

- My father is the labor front participant Aleksandr Ivanovich. He is 90 years now. He has worked as a riveter for 44 years in Severny Loading and Transportation Department. When I was asked whether I was such a good worker like my father I answered: as the tree, so the fruit. Since then I have been confirming my words with my deeds.

Beside dump cars maintenance Viktor Aleksandrovich handles trade union issues of Bogatyr Coal LLP being a chairman of the trade union committee of Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant, he is the member of the commission on the collective agreement.

To confirm his rich labor and public activity he has a big folder full of letters of thanks, certificates of merit, diplomas, and other certificates. The photo of Viktor Slobodenyuk decorated the Board of Honor of the company. The special pride of the honorable employee of the coal industry and companion of Labor Glory badge is Yenbek Danky order.

- There is the merit of my crew. I trust it like myself. I am trying to bring up my children as decent citizens. I can say with certainty that when I retire they will also work smoothly and good like with me.

He is a skillful crew-leader and excellent organizer not only at work but also in his home grounds. His "pet vegetables" on the eight hundred square meters near his house are large sweet tomatoes of the crimson color, which can grow up to one kilogram and more per piece. Together with his wife Nataliya Valentinovna he grows little yellow cherry tomatoes, especially for their five grandchildren.

The flower garden is the special pride of the Slobodenyuk family. Its main ornamentals are varietal roses and tulips, which are taken care of especially carefully and attentively.

- Earlier we also had a dacha, - the home grounds owner remembers, - with apples, raspberry and a huge plantation of garden strawberry, from which we were harvesting fourteen five-liter buckets at a time. We had to sell our dacha as our main assistants-children left the town arranging their lives.

Besides growing garden crops Viktor Slobodenyuk is also fond of raising rabbits of the chinchilla breed. One day he managed to increase the livestock of flap-eared pets up to almost 500 rabbits.

- My father was raising rabbits when I was small. I conceived a passion for it thanks to my granddaughters. One day they came to see us when our neighbors had a poultry brood, and the girls went to watch it. They came back with a gift in the form of two doe-rabbits. When my colleagues found out about this fact they brought a male rabbit to me. This is how our farm started.

Currently the hosts have spring cares, which they meet armed at all points, like their parents in the past, who passed on their huge industry and life-loving, which have always been valued worthily.
