The Double Holiday of Bogatyr Miners

On the eve of the professional holiday - Miner's Day - which is celebrated on the last Sunday of August, in Bogatyr Coal LLP they celebrated the best employees of the joint Kazakhstani-Russian partnership.

For the miners of the country this year's holiday is special as it is the 70-th anniversary of the holiday institution.  

The solemn meeting devoted to this date took place last Friday in Bogatyr Coal LLP. The participants of the meeting were General Director of Bogatyr Coal LLP Serik Raipov, Member of the Board of Directors of Forum Muider B.V. Aleksey Repin, Managing Director for Production and Asset Management of JSC Samruk-Energo, Member of the Board of Directors of Forum Muider B.V. Serik Tyutebayev, Department Director of United Company RUSAL Yuriy Treshchyov, First Deputy General Director-CFO of Bogatyr Coal LLP Nikolay Korsakov, Deputy General Director-Director for Production of Bogatyr Coal LLP Sergey Platonov, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of Bogatyr Coal Kairula Turatayev.

Congratulating the labor collective of the company with its professional holiday General Director of Bogatyr Coal LLP Serik Raipov stated:

- Dear miners! The results of the work of our enterprise for the first half received the positive evaluation of the shareholders. They infuse the confidence we will fulfill the scheduled plans. From the depth of my heart I wish you prosperity, warmth and coziness in your houses, and new labor achievements.      

Member of the Board of Directors of Forum Muider B.V. Aleksey Repin addressed the participants of the solemn meeting with the congratulation words on behalf of Chairman of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Umirzak Shokeyev and Chairman of the Board of JSC Samruk-Energo Almasadam Satkaliyev.

The other quests of the holiday addressed the miners of Bogatyr Coal LLP with the wishes of good and prosperity. The solemn meeting went on with the ceremony of awarding best workers of the partnership.

80 employees of Bogatyr Coal LLP representing various mining professions were awarded with Miner's Glory, Labor Glory, Letter of Merit, Best Employee of the Company, and other awards of JSC Samruk-Kazyna, JSC Samruk-Energo, KAZENERGY Association, Akim of Ekibastuz.

The solemn meeting devoted to the 70-th anniversary of celebrating Miner's Day was followed by the holiday concert arranged by the amateur talent groups of Bogatyr Coal LLP.

Bogatyr Coal LLP is a joint enterprise on opencast coal mining belonging to JSC Samruk-Energo of Kazakhstani Fund of the National Welfare called Samruk-Kazyna and the Russian United Company RUSAL. 60% of the whole coal mined in Ekibastuz coal basin and 40% of the total volume of coal production in the Republic of Kazakhstan fall on the share of Bogatyr Coal LLP.
