Bogatyr Coal LLP renews its equipment

Ekibastuz, November 10, 2016 - The technical fleet of Bogatyr coal mine of the Kazakhstani-Russian coal company Bogatyr Coal LLP was replenished with a new 130-t BelAZ-75131 truck.

The procedure of the transfer of the new truck took place of November 8 at the erection site of the Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance plant at Oktyabrskaya station. Taking into account the technical parameters of the truck its delivery from Belarus to Ekibastuz was made in the form of a lot of completing technological assemblies. The specialists from Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance plant, together with the representatives of a truck manufacturer, launched the assembly and erection of one of the two delivered multi-ton trucks on October 26. BelAZ-75131 truck ready for work was transferred to Technological Transport Department. Next will be the second vehicle. The total amount of investments directed at the purchase of two BelAZ-75131 trucks made 788,400 thousand tenge. The planned purchase of large trucks is made within the frames of the program of Bogatyr Coal LLP for renewal of the main mining and transportation equipment. It is presupposed to buy two more BelAZ trucks. The receiving machinery will come to replace large trucks with the worked out technical resource. The purchased equipment will allow providing the fulfillment of the mining works development program.

Bogatyr Coal LLP is a joint enterprise on opencast coal mining belonging to JSC Samruk-Energo of Kazakhstani Fund of the National Welfare called Samruk-Kazyna and the Russian United Company RUSAL. 60% of the whole coal mined in Ekibastuz coal basin and 40% of the total volume of coal production in the Republic of Kazakhstan fall on the share of Bogatyr Coal LLP. Bogatyr Coal LLP is one of the world largest enterprises on opencast coal mining; its balance reserves are 2,75 billion tons. The production capacity of the enterprise is 42 million tons of coal per year, including 32 million tons on Bogatyr coal mine and 10 million tons of Severny coal mine.
