Under the Big Impression

The veterans-miners returned from Astana, where they had participated in the excursion organized with the financial support of Bogatyr Coal LLP.

In a comfortable Volvo bus 50 former employees of the coal mining enterprise accompanied by Executive Director of Bogatyr Coal Public Fund Nataliya Engel and two guides from Astana - Tatyana and Yelena - made the pre-holiday tour around the capital finishing its preparations for the jubilee.

After the observation excursion to the main capital places of interest the veterans visited the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where thanks to the big exhibition exposition they got acquainted with the way of life and culture of the Kazakh people. There they also visited one more interesting exhibition representing a collection of big dresses about four meter high developed by the French artist-stylist Lamin M. jointly with the Kazakhstani designers. Among these creative, fashionable, picturesque giants the guests from Ekibastuz managed to search something native and close - the dress reminding a coal deposit by its execution, color and handle of fabric. The excursion participants also managed to enjoy the masterpieces of pictorial art, which were the part of the great treasury of Tretyakov arts gallery and were in the golden fund of the world art. They were also exhibited in the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

By the tradition, which was formed for the years of holding such excursions in Astana, the veterans touched the spiritual having visited Uspenskiy cathedral church and Khazret Sultan mosque.

The guests from Ekibastuz made pictures of the best interesting moments of the journey. They were really impressed by the visit. The former miners thanked the management of Bogatyr Coal LLP for the financial assistance and given opportunity to see the capital of the country with their own eyes.
