On Trade Union Movement Constructively

Last Friday Bogatyr Coal LLP was visited by Deputy Chairman of Trade Union Confederation of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tinikeyev and Chairman of Kazakhstan Branch Trade Union of Power Engineers Public Association Orazbek Bekbas.

Within the frames of their work program the leaders of the trade union movement met with the active members of Batyr Komir Local Trade Union. Chairman of Batyr Komir Local Trade Union Kairula Turatayev informed the guests on the changes in the structure of the trade union organization of the miners, main provisions of the acting Collective Agreement and tasks set up. Currently the public association founded at the beginning of this year numbers over six thousand people and is one of the largest trade union organizations of the republic. One should note the company management treated the expression of will of the labor collective with respect and understanding - to their decision to create a new trade union and join Kazakhstan Branch Trade Union of Power Engineers Public Association. Acknowledging Batyr Komir Local Trade Union as a legal labor collective, the enterprise administration confirmed the validity of the Collective Agreement adopted earlier concluded till 2021. The agreement signed in 2017 expanded the basic social guarantees and rights of employees significantly. It is not all of a sudden that the acting Collective Agreement is acknowledged as one of the best in the republic. In the course of his speech Chairman of Batyr Komir Local Trade Union underlined the constructive nature of cooperation of the trade union and administration of the partnership.

Chairman of Kazakhstan Branch Trade Union of Power Engineers Public Association Orazbek Bekbas called the meeting participants to consolidation of the labor collective of the enterprise into the united trade union and setting up close interaction with the employer.

Deputy Chairman of Trade Unions Confederation of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tinikeyev emphasized the attention on the development of new modern approaches in the activity of trade union organizations. By his opinion, the trade union movement of the country needs to work closely on upbringing leaders of the new formation, get rid of the vicious practice of disunity of branch trade unions.    

Having expressed his deep gratitude to the guests for their visit Head of Administration Dastan Zharkimbekov assured that the company management was always open to a dialogue with trade union and ready to discuss any initiatives in favor of the enterprise employees.         

The working meeting was finished with the awarding ceremony. In honor of Trade Union Day and for the contribution in trade union movement development the following employees were awarded with Kasipodaktarga sinirgen enbegi ushyn (For Contribution to Trade Union Work) badge: Lead Engineer of Production Control Service of Technological Transport Department of Bogatyr Coal LLP Irina Filatova, labor veteran Urazbay Makhambetov, Excavator Operator of Mining Works Section #1 of Bogatyr coal mine Kanlybay Umbetaliyev.

The statuette in the form of the Astana symbol - Baiterek - was conveyed to Chairman of Batyr Komir Local Trade Union Kairula Turatayev on behalf of the management of Trade Unions Confederation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  

In his turn, Head of Administration Dastan Zharkimbekov and Chairman of Batyr Komir Local Trade Union Kairula Turatayev presented souvenirs from Bogatyr Coal LLP management and Batyr Komir Local Trade Union to the guests.
