The Cup is Ours!

Despite the cool weather during the last-week-end it was rather hot at the football playground of the sport and health complex of Bogatyr Coal LLP. There the open Cup in mini-football was held devoted to the memory of one of the initiators of the complex creation, organizer of the sport movement Aleksandr Bogurayev. 

The regional tournament in the memory of Bogurayev held this year for the third time gathered eight football teams of the veterans. Beside Ekibastuz picked teams guests from Pavlodar took part in it this year. 

On the first day the teams conducted several meetings in subgroups. After a series of circular matches, which took place on the following day, the playground hosts, Pavlodar team called Murat, Dostyk and Kazproftrans (JSC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy) started to play. In the final of the tournament the football players of Bogatyr and guests from Pavlodar met, who became winners last year. This time luck smiled to the miners, and the Cup stayed at home. Having broken the resistance of the opponent Bogatyr sportsmen managed to score the only victorious goal having won the honorable title of a tournament winner. In the composition of the Bogatyr team there was Vitaliy Kolesnikov, Aleksandr Petrov, Konstantin Kuzmenko, Vitaliy Reshetnikov, Raif Tukayev, Vutaliy Sparyshev, Vitaliy Kobylchenko, Sergey Tsarik, Arman Ospanov, Aleksandr Kamardin, Dmitry Minakov, and Mikhail Ivanov.

The third place was taken by Dostyk team, the railroad people were the third. By the resolution of the panel of judges all the teams qualified for the final were awarded with monetary prizes.
