For Children Protection Day by the existing tradition the management of Bogatyr Coal LLP and the active members of Batyr Komir local trade union organized the sport holiday for young citizens of Ekibastuz town on the basis of the sport and health complex of the enterprise.

Annually for 10 years similar events gather about two hundred pupils from town yard clubs. This time nine teams of boys and nine teams of girls were fighting for the rank of the strongest in the football field and in the relay-race.

The luck at the football field was kind to Zhiger football players. They became the winners. The second place was taken by the young football players from Shanyrak, the third place went to Dostar team members. As for the girls, the gold medal was taken by Dostar team. The girls from Zhiger became the second, and Druzhba team took the third step of the pedestal.

The prize-winners were awarded with diplomas, sport inventory, and sweet presents. Consolation prizes went to other participants of the sport event.
