We remember, honor, and take pride!

On May 9 Ekibastuz town citizens celebrated one of the main state holidays – Victory Day. By the existing tradition in the square near Kazakhstan cinema the holiday meeting took place, the participation in which was also taken by the miners of Bogatyr Coal LLP.

The gathered people were congratulated on Victory Day by the head of Ekibastuz town Kairat Nukenov. Ekibastuz town citizens honored the legacy of the people died in the Great Patriotic war with one minute's silence and salvos from combat weapon and laid the flowers to the Eternal frame of the Glory obelisk.

Among those, who came to bow to the heroes not returned from the battle fields, were the war veterans, workers of the rear area, the participants of the Immortal Regiment - children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of the veterans, who did not live to see the present Victory day, and also the representatives of enterprises and organizations of Ekibastuz. The miners of Bogatyr Coal LLP also laid a wreath and symbols of eternal thankfulness – red carnations - to the footing of the Glory obelisk.

The holiday was finished with the concert, in which the best songs of war years were performed.
