For "Bogatyr" Medals

On December 22 over thirty employees of Bogatyr Coal LLP, who took an active part in the sports competitions of various levels last year and became champions and prize-winners in 15 kinds of sport were presented with letters of merit and bonuses from the management and the trade union of the enterprise. 

This year the traditional ceremony of awarding sportsmen took place in the sports and health center of the partnership. Chairman of Bogatyr Coal Trade Union Committee Kairula Turatayev and Head of the Sports and Health Complex Valentina Titarenko congratulated the team of Bogatyr Coal LLP on the victory in the seventh town Olympics among the enterprises and organizations of the town and on the excellent sports results. They thanked the miners for their active part in the implementation of the healthy mode of life program and wished them sport achievements in the new year.

By Valentina Titarenko, year by year thanks to the policy conducted at the enterprise more and more coal miners go in for sports, new stars emerge on Bogatyr sport horizon.

- The company management always makes advances to us; a lot of money is allocated for the purchase of sports inventory, training equipment and for the conduct of the events. There are a lot of them in the company - over a hundred per year, - as the head of the sports complex says.

As of today about two thousand employees of Bogatyr Coal LLP, which is one third of the collective, go in for various kinds of sport and become owners of awards. The names of some of them glorified Bogatyr Coal LLP far beyond the republic. Head of the Overburden Complex of Bogatyr coal mine Serik Sattarov became the two-time bronze prize-winner of the judo and art of self-defense, which took place in Spain and Greece in 2014, the traction unit operator from Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department Murat Akhmetsharipov being a member of the amateur picked team of Kazakhstan in mini-football at the last year championship in Hungary received the title of the European champion,  and Assistant Excavator Operator from Bogatyr coal mine Ruslan Issenov took the first place this year at the international tournament in Brazilian jujitsu.

Among the glorious Bogatyr sportsmen there is a Paralympian - the employee of the administrative and household building of Bogatyr coal mine Sara Prokofieva. She became the multiple champion and prize-winner of town competitions, regional and republican championships in winter combined events and swimming. 10 golden, 5 silver, and 1 bronze medals are her achievements.
