During the days of celebrating the 60-th jubilee of Ekibastuz the sport and mass events took place on the sport playgrounds of the town and the local hippodrome. The employees of Bogatyr Coal LLP took an active part in them.
Bogatyr employees took the first two places in the tournament in gorodki. The best results in their age categories were shown by Sergey Baranov (Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant) and Yury Petrov (Bogatyr coal mine). The second place was taken by Pavel Baranov (Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant).
In the competitions in swimming the heat of Yelena Napadovskaya (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department) and Sara Prokofiyeva (Bogatyr coal mine) became "the golden" one. The quartet of the silver prize-winners consisted of the following women: Raziya Kasimova (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department), Lyudmila Yuzva (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department), Saule Makarova (Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant), Svetlana Zadorina (Bogatyr coal mine). One more "silver quartet" was formed by Bogatyr employees in the competitions in arm-wrestling. In this kind of sport the second place was taken by Stanislav Sychov from Automobile Base, Takhir Ilyasov from Bogatyr coal mine, Aleksey Sazonov from Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department, Meiram Surumbetov also from Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department. In the competitions of teams the second place was taken by the team of Bogatyr Coal LLP with the help of Khuangan Aizharyk from Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant, who took the second place in togyzkumalak and Kenzhetay Satubaldinov from Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department in the chess tournament.
In weight-lift the best was Kanybek Masakbayev (Automobile Base) and Aidar Kapezov (Technological Transport Department). The well-deserved victory in the competition in checker was taken by Ramazan Imangaliyev from Railroad Equipment Maintenance Department and Assel Beisekulova from Executive Staff, the second place was conquered by Yerbolat Bulkenov from Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department. The bronze prize-winner in kazakhsha-kures was Nurzhan Serikbayev from Bogatyr coal mine.
The collection of sport achievements of Bogatyr employees during the holidays was decorated with the confident victory of the football team within the frames of Pavlodar Region championship. The team called Bogatyr won the match of the regular tournament with Nardos team (Pavlodar) hold at the stadium of the sport and health complex. The score was 3:1.
