Acting Akim (Governor) of Aktogay region Zhanat Tashenev sent a letter addressed to General Director of Bogatyr Coal LLP Victor Shchukin expressing his thankfulness for the contribution made in the conduct of the measures in Sholaksor village.

The underflooding hazard for the village appeared as a result of the abrupt snow melting and emergency water discharge from Selenty water reservoir. To help the village residents from Aktogay region all the forces and means of whom were directed at non-allowance of Sholaksor flooding, the enterprise management ordered to send there the machinery from Bogatyr coal mine.

“We would like to express our thankfulness to you and the whole collective in the assistance rendered, and we also ask you to financially motivate the employees, who participated in the prevention of Sholaksor village underflooding hazard” – it was said in the letter.
