KVN at Bogatyr
They know the work safety while working with chemicals and the chemical composition of good mood. That is why, after a year, by the good tradition they met again on one stage to compete to get a Bogatyr KVN cup within the frames of the month of occupational safety. The current meeting of KVN-people of Bogatyr Coal LLP became a jubilee one – 10 years ago World Work Safety Day was first celebrated in our town.
The game battles started long before the appearance of the teams on the stage. They evolved in the mine hall among the fans’ groups. Their main “weapon” was different chants and beeping pipes.
The coal miners’ favorite teams – My favorite team (Bogatyr mine), Paris (Railroad Equipment Maintenance Department), Assorti (Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department), and All-men team (Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant) appeared in front of the audience under the squall of applauses by the invitation of Erlan Iskakov, “Maslyakov” from Bogatyr.
The topics of the game related to occupational safety while using chemicals at work places. That is why, KVN-people recollected their school chemistry lessons, Dmitry Mendeleev with pleasure, and also tried to cure acid burns by Gennadiy Malakhov’s methods. The cheerful and resourceful boys and girls showed what people can seem to see at work places, if they inhale dissolver fumes too hard: in the interpretation of humorists – at least – section head in a headpiece and trunks or a private car transmuting into a transformer.
To give the weight to their performance, the guys from All-men team performed with Alexander Ivanskiy, Director of Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant (GRTO Plant), in one of the songs singing rap. By the results of the game Alexander Ivanskiy became the winner in Best Player nomination for his vocality. The RGTO plant guys turned out to be the most cheerful, convincing and non-typical from four teams-participants, that is why, like last year, they were awarded the first prize, a bonus and the opportunity to represent Bogatyr Coal LLP at the town KVN-competition. As the All-men team captain Dmitry Semyonov said, his team members were absolutely ready for the all-town KVN-competition among the teams of the town enterprises, which would take place on April 25. It was needed just to “polish” the program and renew it a little bit.
Paris team members from Railroad Equipment Maintenance Department having answered their own expectations not to fly as ply wood over that very city shared the second place with Assorti from Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department. In addition to that, the boys and girls from Assorti were marked as the best producers. The third place was taken by My favourite team from Bogatyr mine. Besides, the team was awarded in the Best Joke nomination. The best fans by the solution of the panel of judges was the support group from Railroad Equipment Maintenance Department.
By Chief Technical Manager on Occupational Safety of Bogatyr Coal LLP Igor Popovich, KVN-2014 was successful. The boys and girls made some more contribution in the development of occupational safety in the coal enterprise. In fact, people look at serious things more attentively in the light of humor. Despite the phrase pronounced in the competition: “If you do not work – you will not be injured”, Bogatyr Coal LLP continues to actively work, but the number of accidents decreases year in year out. It is also the merit of KVN-people.
