Bogatyr Coal LLP to raise wages

In March the traditional annual meetings of the managerial staff of Bogatyr Coal LLP with the labor collective finished. The leaders of information groups headed by General Director of the company Victor Shchukin said about the results of the enterprise activity for the last year, shared their plans for the future and answered the questions of the gathered people.

The main part of the questions was related to the wage increase in connection with tenge devaluation. Victor Shchukin, General Director of Bogatyr Coal LLP, answered them. He stated that despite the reduction of the production volumes this year, the management of the enterprise reacted properly the appeal of President of Kazakhstan to top managers of largest Kazakhstani companies to increase wages for their employees. Upon the consent of the shareholders, the decision was made to increase wages to the company employees by 10% beginning from April 1, 2014, additionally to the 5% increase of tariff rates and base payments made beginning from January 1, 2014 due to the inflation ratio in Kazakhstan. Thus, from beginning of the year tariff rates and base payments of Bogatyr Coal LLP employees will grow by 15,5%.

Beside this, the company preserved the fulfilment of all obligations to the employees envisaged by the collective agreement, including mark-ups for professionalism, high qualification, combining of professions, etc.

At the meetings the main events in the enterprise life this year were also marked. They are the commissioning of the crushing and sorting complex for getting grade coal, the next stage of reconstruction of Severny coal mine railroad transportation scheme, and also the purchase of EKG-10 excavator, DML drill rig and about forty-four dump cars for the overburden complex.
