This year the city holiday of spring and renewal – Nauryz meiramy has been celebrated under the motto of Nauryz Holiday is the Great Day. Bogatyr Coal, LLP has perceived this idea of organizers enthusiastically and decorated a special exhibition in one of its yurts. Honoring the traditions, the miners have served the town dwellers round with almost one ton of baking and different sweets and invited the veterans of its company to holiday meal as well.
Our countryman – a native of Bayanaul, a Kazakh and Soviet actor, a film maker, people’s artist of the USSR Shaken Aimanov has became the pivotal figure of the holiday at Bogatyr’s yurts. This year there will be a hundred years from his birthday. That is why there was no doubt when choosing a character of the exhibition according to Manar Yerbotina, Chief of the Department for State Language Development, Bogatyr Coal, LLP. The visitors of the miniature exhibition have got acquainted with biography of the film maker. The following pictures with frames from films shot by Shaken Aimanov have been presented at the exhibition: Dzhambul, Our Dear Doctor, The Angel with Skull-Cap and many other favorite films.
There were also entertainment measures outdoors. Popular characters of Kazakh folktales - Aldar Kose and a greedy and stupid Bai have shown the real dramatic performance here. By the way, being projected into fairy characters, track mounters of BPTU – Kairgeldy Dairbayev and Serik Shaizhanov have demonstrated their acting abilities for the first time and it was not bad.
Performing the inflammatory compositions, the activists of Bogatyr’s youth movement in spirits have inspired Ekibastuz people from stage. Zhanibek Malikov, a honored culture worker of RK, a singer and a dombra player has been as a special guest of the holiday.
And can you imagine Nauryz holiday without national and Kazakh types of sport contests and games? Employees of the coal company have competed in Asyk and Togyz-Kumalak games. The winners are Tulegen Zhapenov, Yerlan Mukashev, Vladimir Pavlovskey and Yerbolat Bulkenov.
Kanybek Masakbayev, Kairat Temirzhnaov and Kuat Bekov have been as the winners of the weight lifting in weight category up to 85 kg. Yurey Zaikin, Dmitrey Karipanov and Igor Kornilov have shared the winner’s stand in the same kind of sport in weight category over 85 kg.
As for arm wrestling in weight up to 85 kg, Stanislav Sychev has been the first, Takhir Ilyasov – the second and Yerbol Barlybayev - the third. Yurey Zaikin, Kuat Bekov and Igor Kornilov have taken the first, second and third places correspondingly in the weight category over 85 kg.
Bogatyr employees have been notable in the city-wide sport contests too. Serik Sattarov, head of overburden workshop of Bogatyr mine have been the winner of Kazakhsha-Kures contest in weight category over 90 kg among the strongest wrestlers of Ekibastuz region. Bogatyr Coal team headed by Aleksey Sazonov has taken the third place in tug-of-war.
The final stage of Nauryz Meiramy-2014 was awarding of enterprises and organizations of Ekibastuz, which have taken part in the contest - yurt township show. Bogatyr Coal, LLP has got the grand prize as it was in last year.
