«Bogatyr» Fishing

Having confirmed the public wisdom, which says that, a devotee of fishing could not be pushed to his hip in the morning, last Saturday reckless fishers from employees of Bogatyr Coal, LLP went to Sabyndykol lake. They had decided to hold the present team championship of the coal company on ice-fishing at such an attractive site of Pavlodar region.

Bogatyr lovers of winter fishing are subjugating Bayanaul ice the second time for whole history of competitions. And it was successful as before. The fishing happened despite the big wind forecasted by forecasters and emergency service for that day and the fishers were satisfied. They got perches and roaches typical for the site in the main. However someone succeeded even in fishing a ruff out.

A pike-perch had become as a real finding for many sport-fishermen. It was a rare fish of Sabyndykol lake according to them. It was hooked by only woman-fisher taking part in the competition. Taking part in the championship was initiative and rather successful for Tatyana Oleynik, a technician-technologist. That was why the panel of judges had decided to award a special prize to her. It was called «The Fisher Woman».

Bogatyr Fishing -2014 was opened by Yuriy Petrov from the picked team of the drainage mine. He got the first fish and similar nomination - «The First Fish». The jury noted the biggest fish of the competition – a six hundred gram perch hooked by Gennadiey Penchuk, an employee of the car fleet and the smallest trophy – a three centimeter perch hooked by Vladimir Vederin from the drainage mine. A story about fishing life by Vasiliey Lykov (Stepnaya Rolling-Stock Depot) was acknowledged as the best fish story and an outfit of Alexander Zverev (Bogatyr Loading and Transport Directorate) – as the best fishing equipment.

Only three teams from ten took prize-winning places according to results of the championship. Stepnaya Rolling-Stock Depot took the third place having taken a four kilogram and four hundred gram fish. Fishers of Bogatyr Loading and Transport Directorate took a fish, which is more by four hundred gram. So, they rose to the second level of pedestal. A team of the Directorate for Maintenance of Railway Equipment became as a winner. They took a six kilogram fish.

Vladimir Rozhok from the Directorate for Maintenance of Railway Equipment and Nikolai Novikov from Bogatyr Loading and Transport Directorate were the third in personal test at competitions for drilling of holes in ice for speed. Alexander Novikov from Bogatyr Loading and Transport Directorate and Viktor Zagurenko from Vehicle Depot took the second place. The fastest «driller» was Vyacheslav Lesin from Bogatyr Loading and Transport Directorate.

All the winners were awarded of valuable gifts and certificates.
