DO EVERYTHING WITH EXCELLENCE!

29.03.2012

March 8th – the International Women’s Day

DO EVERYTHING WITH EXCELLENCE!

Some people just underestimate their labor saying that they just put papers from one desk to another and do not do anything significant. We speak about the employees of the chancellery department. I am sure this is the opinion of those, who do not know the specifics of their work, or those, who just envy them. Oh, yeah – their work is soft, physically not fagging, at the same time always in warmth and coziness.

But if one gets to the heart of the matter on what they do daily – their opinion changes immediately. The first thing that hits your eyes – only women work here. Only women can bring in order what men can not do – very rigorously, meticulously and with pedantism. At the same time – if to work in the chancellery is not fagging, it is cozy and warm, do all the women want to work there?

- Lord forbid, clerical work is not for me, - one of the office employees stated frankly.

- I am not so plodding to fulfill this irksome task, - the other woman echoed her.

Thus, for me it has become clear: even not all the women want to master this occupation, not speaking about men.

This little lyric introduction was made by me to tell about one of the chancellery employees – Olga Khozyasheva. I think namely she personifies the image of a real chancellery clerk: attentive, not fussy, literate, meticulous, knowing everything about her job, responsive… So many epithets! And none of those, who know her well, is sure he/she would take any of the epithets from the list.

…She wanted to be a philologist. But eventually the genes of her parents, who for all their lives worked in the mining industry, won.

After the school graduation she went to enter Sverdlovsk Pedagogical Institute. But decided not to because the graduates had to go to the country-side.

She returned home and started to work as a secretary in the normative and research laboratory of Ekibastuzugol Production Association.

At the same time she started to get ready for entering Pavlodar Industrial Institute.

She had to type very many documents and started to understand more and more the essence of the production problems. Some documents were elaborated not very literally, and she had enough bravery to correct them.

Her life credo is “If you started doing something, do it with excellence!”

Her secretary work experience was sixe years and a half. Still being a student, Olga began to work as an engineer, and then the specialist in the realm of labor and materials rate setting.

In the middle of the nineties the big changes took place in the life of the formerly huge enterprise – Ekibastuzugol Production Association – like in the destiny of thousands of miners, including Olga Khozyasheva. Currently she works as Deputy Head of Documentation Department of Bogatyr Coal, LLP.

 - Olga Dmitrievna is a good specialist, - Tatyana Kvashnina, her boss says, - I always rely on her big experience, high responsibility. I know she will never let me down.

In Documentation Department there are some other specialists, who process up to thirty thousand documents per year.

Olga Dmitrievna is also in charge of execution of business trips.

After work Olga has to take care of her sick mother, call her daughter, Sasha, who is a second-year student in Astana, in Eurasian National University named after Gumilyov, on the faculty of journalism and political science.

…In summary, I would like to add that the fair labor of Olga Khozyasheva was evaluated by the Labor Glory award of the third and second grades.
