NEPOMNYASHCHAYA REMEMBERS EVERYTHING

There are many occupations – good and various. An accountant, tailor, teacher, doctor, railroad specialist, pilot…People know much about them. But, I am sure, very few people know about such a profession as a calling person for locomotive crews. Even the all-knowing computer says there is no such word in the Russian language. But there is. In the seven-thousand collective of Bogatyr Coal, LLP there are five calling persons for locomotive crews. And all of them are women.

Valentina Fyodorovna Nepomnyashchaya came to work here thirty two years ago. At that time almost nobody had standard telephones, not speaking about mobile phones. To call an additional crew of locomotive operators in case of additional production, they had to go to their houses and apartments by the bus on duty.

Currently it is much easier to work. A mobile phone helps. For example, by the main schedule 19 crews have to come to work, but late in the evening there appears the necessity in 3 additional crews. Then you have to get to work 7-8 additional people. Such minutes are very tense for Valentina Fyodorovna, as every person has a family, private life, plans, etc… In such cases the calling person Nepomnyashchaya has to apply all her remarkable diplomatic capabilities to be able to convince Ivanov, Petrov or Sidorov to come to work above the schedule. At the same time she has to keep the balance of their work shifts per month.

Last winter, on some very tense days, when the company was shipping 33 coal trains per day, up to 24 locomotives came to work, and she had to call very many additional locomotive crews.

In the past five people were doing this work. Currently only two women do it. Computers make their work easier, but still they can not simplify their work completely. Much has to be done manually.

Valintina Fyodorovna should be awarded with the medal named after Makarenko, as she is a very good psychologist. She is a very active person. When young, Valentina was fond of sport, liked hiking.

She came to Kazakhstan from Moldavia by the Komsomol voucher. And now she shares her energy with all the people around her.
