ONLY WOMEN COMPETED
The whole preceding week in Bogatyr Coal, LLP took place under the aegis of the celebration of the International Women’s Day – March 8th.
On March 3rd in Children and Juvenile Sport School Zhasybay there was an open tournament in volleyball among women’s teams of the town enterprises and organizations. The competitions provoked the big interest of the fans of this kind of sport. That is why, many spectators came to support their teams. Their expectations were not in vain. The competition was interesting, tense and theoric. The fight was tough, and the first place was taken by the multiple winner of volleyball competitions – the women’s team of Bogatyr Coal, LLP headed by its captain, Inessa Sukhanova.
On March 4th in the sport and health center of Bogatyr Coal, LLP there were the traditional competitions called “The Joyfull Starts”, the participants of which were the representatives of the Executive Apparatus, Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department, the Drainage Mine, Mining and Transportation Equipment Maintenance Plant and other structural subdivisions. Aleksandr Shmeyer, the head of the trade union committee of Bogatyr Coal, LLP congratulated the sportswomen on the forthcoming women’s holiday. In the breaks between the relay races the competition participants and spectators were entertained by the girls from Step-fo sport dance club and amateurs of the youth movement of the company headed by Ruslan Musin.
The winners of the Joyful Starts were the teams of the Executive Staff, Accounting Department and Bogatyr Loading and Transportation Department headed by their captains Olga Shereshova, Olga Protsenko and Yelena Napadovskaya.
On the same day in the Children and Juvenile Sport School #2 there were the town competitions in swimming among women of different age categories. Despite the fact the company does not have its own swimming pool and our simmers-women have no place to masker their swimming skills, they, nevertheless, demonstrated their best combativity. In their age categories Inessa Sukhanova took the first place, Olga Shereshova took the second place, and Yelena Napadovskaya also took the second place.
