In 2009 Bogatyr Coal, a joint venture of Samruk Kazyna Kazakhstani National Welfare Fund and RUSAL Russian company sold its customers as much 34.8 million tons of coal including 20.85 million tons sold the power enterprises of Kazakhstan and 13,95 million tons sold the power enterprises of Russia.
On the eve of Miners’ Day the Honor Board of Bogatyr Coal, LLP has been renewed: the old portraits of the best workers by the results of the company’s activity in 2008 were carefully removed and packed, and on their place there are seventeen new portraits now.
By the оld-established tradition the miners of Bogatyr Coal, LLP on the eve of the professional holiday give the names of their best representatives. They are awarded with departmental awards, they are honored at solemn meetings, they are given diplomas and cash bonuses.
The main capital of Bogatyr Coal, LLp is its collective, which is represented by a large team of like-minded persons that is formed for the past years, and united with common goals, interests and approaches to construct and do business. The management of the Company focuses a lot of attention to the training and advanced training of employees. To attract the gifted and talented young specialists of mining, railroad, motor-car, technical profile, the Regulation “On hiring and employment of graduates of educational institutions” is effective in Bogatyr Coal, the list of sharply deficit specialists is approved and the benefits are envisaged. They are concluded individual labor contract with the term of 5 years, their travel to the work place is paid and they are paid the traveling expenses, and the expenses for housing payment are compensated. The interest-free loans are also provided to them for purchasing the house.
In 1999, Bogatyr Coal, LLP opened its own Training Center, equipped with computers, knowledge control automated systems, promoting the training of the staff in safety and labor protection, control of knowledge. The lecture-rooms of mining and transport equipment and machines, railroad transport, hoisting machines, bench and electrical mounting work, labor protection are equipped well in the Training Center. The main task of the Training Center is to prepare the staff of initial qualification level, to re-train and to raise the level of employees’ skills.
